I would have not killed Charles but had him captured and Logan was only able to rescue Laura. At the final battle I watched the mutant children take down and kill the main bad guy but they didnt stop X2. I would have had that group of solders bring Charles with them and as X2. Logan onto the tree stump Charles using his last strength walks up behind X2. X2. 4 slowly stabs him with his claws then falls to the ground paralyzed by Charles and some of the mutant kids. He holds Lauras hand as he is holding Charles hand and Charles put his hand on Logans head like a father to a child and Charles says again like in the farmhouse bedroom that their is alway still time for a life like this meaning a family and they both die. I think that would have had a nice impact for Logan to start fresh with a family. Finally watched it yesterday after avoiding spoilers like the plague. It was great, I loved it. Its definitely one of my favorite superhero movies. It felt very real and honest, like these characters really exist in our world. My only real nitpick is I wish we could have seen Logan and Laura connect a bit more, and also maybe a scene showing where the kids wound up once they crossed the border. I also would have loved to see Liev Schrieber reprise his role as Victor, to me he was great as Sabretooth. Overall though, great film and great performances. Dafne Keen rocked as X2. Thanks for the memories Hugh Jackman, youve had a great run. This is the very best X Men movie yet It mixes sci fi with the reality of what a war torn heroe ends up. The forgotten soldiers. Very similar to what lots of veterans of America live nowadays the music really touches you inn a very profound way. I loved this movie because it didnt have any of that disney bubbly crap. This movie was gritty and showed what the xmen is really about in tje first place. Just like what happens in real life ppl crossing borders for a better life. Xmen even though they have powers and are different they are still human deep inside and just want find happiness. There are alternate universes and realities and future past present warping so i wouldnt be surprised if this was just an alternate universefuture. Best movie that Ive had ever seen but Cannot believe that thats the end of Logan or should I say hug Hackman I spelled hes name wrong but Its true I cant picture him as a dead wolfviernes1. Anyone else a little disappointed by the steelbook design I wouldve just preferred it being the poster of Logan like in this photo or the one where hes carrying Laura.
